This is an interesting outpost of the MoMA design store uptown, ideal for those who love great modern design but prefer shops to galleries.

The lofty space covers two levels. The lower level has a spacious display of iconic designs from the 20th Century, covering furniture, jewellery, homewares, scarves and more (lots of great gifts). There's also a very good selection of architecture and design books.

Upstairs there's an edited selection from the Japanese design department store Muji, celebrated for its "non-brand" brand that promotes great design for everyday use. (There's a synergy here, since MoMA Design now has a Tokyo store).
