Start with 16 studios for local artists, plus one for international visitors, add education programs and all the support that an incubator can deliver, and you get a busy, buzzy hive full of vibrant new ideas about art and its place in our world.

Upstairs in the studios there is a quiet whirlwind of creativity which pervades the three gallery spaces (two for group shows and a smaller one for individual shows) with a great feeling of community.

This is a good spot, handy to the city, to soak up a sense of what's hot, new and edgy in Melbourne's art scene.
